Lives of great people are very attractive to many who seek to improve
themselves and the world around them. Some of the mathematicians that
are mentioned on this site made gigantic impact on the world around
them and the world was changed forever. Things that we now take for
granted, that we learn in grade school were as advanced and as abstract
then as quantum mechanics, string theory, etc. are today.
However, the site is more about the people less about their science.
