Danas u 15h održaće se online webinar na temu "Redundant Campus Networks".

Redundant Campus Networks

The talk presents "Recommendations for a Redundant Campus Network". A campus
network may be divided up into three parts: the core network, the
distribution network and the access network. Recommendations for building a
redundant network are made for each of these parts. The following topics are
covered:

- Redundant equipment rooms with separate electrical and cooling systems
- Redundant fibre-optic structure
- Redundant core switches with BGP to the NREN/outside world, a dynamic IGP
(IS-IS or OSPF) and VRRP
- Rapid Spanning Tree (IEEE 802.1w) in the distribution network, combined
with MSTP (IEEE 802.1s). Consider also TRILL or IEEE 802.aq.
- Redundant network connections for servers using Ethernet Bonding/Ethernet
Teaming in active/active mode
