The Faculty of Stomatology, University of Belgrade is the oldest dental school in the region of South-Eastern Europe. It was established in 1948, and last year we celebrated its 50th anniversary.For five decades of its existance the school has earned a distiguished place in European family of dental schools. Beside the science, education and health work it has organized many scientific conferences, among that in 1985 we organized the FDI Copngress. The faculty has also organized many students' Congresses, so the organization of the 41st Yugoslav congress of medical and dental students, with international participation is successfull continue of a tradition in organizing those sorts of manifestation. Students' organization of the Faculty pledes for: - better edeucation programme - more efficient educational and scientific system - improvement of students' standard - more offering cultural life of students - better interschool and international cooperation Besides the Scientific committee, which is the organizer of the 41st congress the Organization founded the International exchange committee, Red Cross committe and the Athletic club.
