HIMALAYANS

Dan, Adam, Marty, Chris, and Dave Himalayan were born to poor yak herders in the Northern part of Tibet. Because of a food shortage and a large balloon payment on their hut, the nomad couple were forced to sell off their newborn quintuplets at the local flea market. The five children were purchased by five different American tourists and returned to separate regions of the United States with their respective new parents. Plagued by mysterious talents, the five HIMALAYANS developed a mystic knowledge of American instruments which they expanded upon during their adolescence:

Dan Himalayan: lead guitar
Adam Himalayan: vocals
Chris Himalayans: drums
Marty Himalayan: bass guitar
Dave Himalayan: rhythm guitar

After simultaneously purchasing a volume of TIME/LIFE books entitled The Psychic Phenomenon, the Himalayan brothers converged by way of plane, train, car, bus and skateboard to San Francisco, California. The brothers, although separated at birth, were reunited as the plane, train, car, bus and skateboard that each was traveling on crashed head-on in a very mysterious accident that has officials baffled to this day. Although no one was hurt, the five brothers noticed similar birthmarks on their lower left earlobes, and the rest is history . . . Now, for a limited time only, HIMALAYANS are available to play at your stadium, club, radio station, lounge, dance hall, bus stop, or living room. Using the enclosed tape and a cassette player, you can experience the you-got-your-peanut-butter-in-my-chocolate blend of rock and pop that has made HIMALAYANS fun for the whole family.
